Mornings set the tone for the rest of your day. If you are running late and stressed, that will continue throughout the rest of your work day and you don’t want that! Here are 3 ways you can make your morning routine faster.
1.Pick out your outfit the night before.
With more time to plan your outfit, you’re more likely to wear a cuter outfit because it’s planned out! And you’ll easily cut out 10-15 minutes of staring at your closet in the morning! Picking out an outfit the night before also gives you time to try it on and plan on what needs to be ironed. Tip: Pick out a backup outfit too. We all have those mornings where we change our mind 🙂
2.Cut your makeup routine down
Master your everyday glam! You can wear eye shadow to work, but instead of putting on 2-3 colors, choose one color. Pick a neutral color that gives your eyes just a bit of color and you can wear everyday. Instead of a foundation that requires a lot of blending, go with a tinted moisturizer and concealer. Finish with a little bronzer and mascara. And that’s it – makeup done in 5 minutes.
3.Pack your lunch the night before
While you’re bing watching your favorite show of Netflix, bring your laptop into the kitchen and pack your lunch! If you’re running late in the morning all you have to do is grab your lunch out of the fridge and keep on running. If you’re not much of a lunch packer – challenge yourself to do it 2-3 times a week. You’ll save time and money!
You can make your morning routine faster by saving 20-30 minutes! You will be less stressed and more confident. We all have those mornings where we run late but having these habits in place will make those morning a lot less stressful. And the mornings where we aren’t running late will let us get out the door a lot more relaxed. You might even be able to make a Starbucks run before you get to work. 🙂
