If you like to celebrate Valentines Day but are over the typical crowded restaurant dinner, I’ve thought of some fun alternatives! Plus, it’s good to mix up date nights – keeps things fresh and exciting 🙂
Cooking class
It’s always fun to learn something new – especially a recipe you can recreate at home. Places like Sur La Table or The Cook’s Warehouse usually offer a variety of cooking classes you can sign up for.
Dancing class (learning salsa sounds fun!)
Go grab cocktails before hand and then step outside your comfort zone to spice things up in a salsa class. I typed in salsa lessons in Atlanta and so many options came up!
Staycation at a local hotel
Pick a charming local hotel that you can cuddle up with room service and a spa treatment. A change of scenery is always a good idea.
Jazz club
This just sounds fun! Grab dinner, drinks and some good jams all in one place.
Comedy show
We could all use a good belly laugh – am I right?! Look up some local shows and grab tickets. Some places serve food and drinks – making your night complete!
Wine tasting
This can be at a local venue or make this part of your weekend staycation. If you live in Georgia, I highly recommend grabbing an Airbnb in North GA and going to one (or more than one) of the awesome wineries there. Some of my favorites are Yonah Mountain and Montaluce.
At-home spa treatment
If staying in is your jam, book a massage or facial with a mobile spa company. Make your night complete with take out from your favorite restaurant, pick up a little dessert, and then turn on a good movie afterwards.
Would rather celebrate with your gals instead? Most of these options would make for a fun girls night out!
